PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP
This month we talk about:
PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP

Industry and public-private partnership are trends that have come to stay in many sectors, both internally and externally to organizations. With the COVID-19 pandemic, we saw how a highly competitive industry, such as pharmaceuticals and the public administrations, collaborated without precedent to move towards a solution for COVID -19. Also in the field of care there was outstanding collaboration, with private hospitals providing support to public health systems to get out of the crisis as soon as possible. The pandemic highlighted the power of collaboration between companies and the public and private spheres for the common good.

It’s time to build on lessons learned to keep building towards greater openness and collaboration in the processes of biomedical research and patient care, with criteria of transparency and evaluation of results.
